Clients and Testimonials
It’s rare that I am able to share examples of work performed, because copywriting is not as visual as graphic design. Nonetheless, I have modified a recent assignment for content repair to show the difference that a quality copywriter makes.
In the attached example, the clients name and contact information has been removed to protect their privacy. I was asked to review a brochure and make the calls to action more appealing and powerful. If you click here, you can see the content, before and after, and decide for yourself which version has a greater impact.
Promis owns a number of addiction treatment centers and rehabilitation clinics in Europe and other areas overseas. I was originally hired by this client to write a single article, but they were so impressed with the results that I was contacted (almost a year later) to help with the redevelopment of their website (http://www.promis.co.uk/) and content for marketing collateral.
When asked about working with me, Markus Sykes (a representative of Promis) said “Quality content delivered in a very timely manner, what more could you ask for? Will certainly be hiring again!”
(I guess that means they aren’t finished with me yet…)
Of course, I did have prior experience writing about the topic of drug and alcohol addiction, treatment, and recovery for Axis Residential (based in California) for over a year before working with Promis.
Older samples of SEO content can be found at any of the following links:
- http://www.axishouse.net/
However, those 2 samples focus on one industry. I’ve mastered the art of efficient research and communication to be able to produce effective, quality content for almost any situation or industry. As a result, I have secured customer loyalty with 3 of the leading internet solutions providers (SEO Content Solutions, Sarbro Solutions, and eNet Technologies) to work as a 3rd party content producer for their clients.
(Unfortunately, all work performed as a 3rd party must remain confidential, and this leaves me unable to share examples of some of the biggest “success stories.”)
Nonetheless, I can tell you that I’ve helped contribute to the successful growth of many familiar names; by delivering top quality SEO and sales content for clients specializing in natural floor coverings, tools & hardware, eco-friendly condos, and everything in between.
Speaking of internet based businesses, e-commerce was – and perhaps still is – a big trend for entrepreneurs. What better way to grow your own business from the comfort of home? Contrary to what certain individuals would like you to believe, e-commerce does require investments (of time, energy, and money) to grow from an idea to a success story. Certain services are needed, including e-commerce website development and SEO copywriting.
So there’s no surprise that so many of my past clients were e-commerce. In fact, one of my personal favorite success stories deals with an ecommerce site that originally dealt exclusively with plus sized lingerie.
Kabrini’s Secret originally hired me with the hopes that I could help their website rank on the front page of search results for “plus sized lingerie.” I told them this goal was just not realistic, and after collaborating together it was agreed that I would help market the website, optimize product descriptions, and contribute SEO content.
One of the first things I published was an interactive Lingerie Personality Quiz that included 3 individual calls to action for specific products, based on the quiz results. Within a week, the monthly sales for this client had tripled… and the top 3 selling items were those items featured in the quiz.
(Note – this quiz is no longer interactive, but can be viewed as a blog by clicking here.)
I am continuously working with a variety of clients, directly and indirectly (through 3rd party companies) so please check back often for updates to this Clients & Testimonials section. With this transition into a focus on local clients, I hope to have some familiar brands posted soon.
In the meantime, it’s worth pointing out that when I am not working as a copywriter for businesses or organizations I continue to pursue my passion of writing and work as a freelance writer. The internet has been good to me, and other freelance writers, so you may see my work scattered all over the place. One in particular is Top Ten Reviews, where I maintain a review site about monthly gift clubs.
